The San Diego Humane Society & SPCA is seeking to fill a newly created full time position for a person with a special interest in feline behavior who will join our behavior assessment team. Job responsibilities are focusing but not limited to the development and implementation of an assessment tool, screening all cats that enter into our care for behavioral problems and suitability for adoption / need for behavior intervention. Additionally, the position includes involvement in a variety of clinical research in the area of feline behavior. The successful candidate would be based on our new and expanding ‘North Campus’ in Oceanside, CA (location of our new queen/kitten nursery), but would work in all 4 locations. Salary: $14-16/h.
