L’UMR
d’Ethologie animale et humaine (Université de Rennes 1 – C.N.R.S.) et
l’association Handi’chiens collaborent dans le cadre de recherches
scientifiques. Dans le cadre de cette collaboration, nous projetons de déposer
une demande de bourse de doctorat CIFRE et sommes donc à la recherche d’un
candidat.
Intitulé du projet doctoral : Caractérisation et modalités d’entrainement de chiens d’assistance pour aide
aux personnes épileptiques
Objectifs :

Caractérisation de l’épilepsie et identification
des besoins des personnes

Caractérisation du chien pour personnes
épileptiques
-
Impact de l’entrainement sur les capacités du
chien dans le contexte cible de l’épilepsie
Le ou la doctorant(e) aura, entre autres, à analyser des enregistrements vidéo
(être humain) et mettre au point des tests comportementaux chez le chien

2016 (sous réserve de l’obtention de financement)
Durée : 3 ans
Lieu de travail : Le temps de travail sera partagé entre différents
lieux de terrain en France et le laboratoire d’éthologie animale et humaine, à
la station biologique de Paimpont, près de Rennes.
Compétences du candidat : Titulaire d’un Master au plus tard en juin 2016. Formation en
éthologie indispensable.

The Animal and
human ethology laboratory (Rennes 1 University – C.N.R.S.) and the service dog
association Handi’chiens collaborate within scientific projetcs. Within this
collaboration, we are planning to apply to a CIFRE PhD grant and we are looking
for a candidate.
PhD title : Characterization and training methods for service dogs helping people with epilepsy
Objectives:

Characterization of epilepsy and identification of people with epilepsy needs
- Characterization of the service dog dedicated to epilepsy
- Impact of training methods on the dog's abilities in the context of epilepsy
- Characterization of the service dog dedicated to epilepsy
- Impact of training methods on the dog's abilities in the context of epilepsy
The PhD student will analyze video recordings (human) and develop behavioral tests for the service dogs

Working
place : Working time will be shared between different places in
France and the ethology lab at the biological station, Paimpont, near Rennes

in ethology required.
