Comparative Cognition Research Assistant, University of Cambridge
We
are seeking a research assistant to work on a project investigating
causal reasoning in corvids and humans, funded by the ERC. The Principal

The
person appointed will be responsible for the day-to-day running of
experiments, and will help with the administration and organisation of
both the grant and experiments.
The
research work will involve training and testing corvids at the
Sub-Department of Animal Behaviour in Madingley, as well as some testing
of humans (primarily, but not exclusively, children and young infants).
This role may potentially involve research trips overseas to test
corvids at our collaborators' research station in New Caledonia.
Consequently, it is desirable that the post-holder has experience of
running cognitive experiments with humans, ideally children, and
essential that they have experience of working with birds, ideally
corvids. Applicants should have an undergraduate degree in experimental
psychology, biology or related discipline and a background in
experimental psychology, biology, or a related field.
