The Department of Psychology in the College of Arts and Sciences at Bowling Green State University is seeking a Developmental Neuroscientist at the Assistant Professor, tenure track level who uses animal models to investigate brain development in the behavioral context of cognitive, affective, ethological or clinical neuroscience. The successful candidate will be expected to compete for extramural funding, serve as a strong mentor for undergraduate and graduate teaching/research, and interact with supporting faculty in the J.P. Scott Center for Neuroscience, Mind and Behavior from across campus. Qualifications for the position include a doctorate in a neuroscience related field (with some post-doctoral experience preferred), and a record of teaching, research, and service. The position begins August, 2018. Salary and start-up are competitive and commensurate with peer institution levels for rank and position and in keeping with candidate experience and credentials.
